Do you need an apostille on your Transcripts?
At National Apostille, Inc., we take the guesswork out of obtaining an apostille on your school transcripts. We can apostille transcripts issued from High Schools, Colleges, Universities, and Trade Schools. Before we can process your documents, you will need to follow the three steps outlined below. If you are unsure of any of the steps, go ahead and call 1-800-903-2470 or email us at: support@nationalapostille.com
Step #1: The first step is to contact the School’s Registrar and inform the Registrar that you will need a copy of your transcripts to be signed and notarized. The Registrar will print a new set of transcripts on special tamper resistant paper and meet with a notary public. If the school does not have a notary on staff, a traveling notary can visit the school and meet with the Registrar. You can search online and arrange for a traveling notary service to visit the school when it’s convenient for the Registrar. Most notaries are unfamiliar with authenticating a transcript for another country so it’s best to leave the apostille process to us. The notary must follow the proper notarial laws of their State in order for the State office to authenticate the documents.
Step #2: Once you receive your transcripts, go ahead and open the sealed envelope to verify that they have in fact been signed and notarized. Don’t worry about breaking the “Seal” because we will open the envelope once we receive it. It’s important that you verify the information listed on your transcripts and catch any mistakes before you mail it in to us. The original signature and the printed name of the Registrar must be on the documents including the notary’s name, signature, date of notarization, notarial wording, and stamp.
Step #3: The final step is to mail in your documents to our office for processing. We have created an order form and credit card authorization form for every US State. You can find and download our order forms here: National Apostille Order Forms
Here are a few frequently asked questions…
Question: Can the school Registrar email me my signed and notarized transcripts?
Answer: The school Registrar must mail the original signed and notarized transcripts. The transcripts must be printed on special tamper resistant paper and also have the original signature and seal of the notary public.
Question: Can you contact my school and speak with the Registrar?
Answer: Unfortunately, our company police prohibits us from calling your school. Your school’s Registrar can contact us for general questions regarding an apostille.
Question: Can my school’s Registrar mail the transcripts directly to your office?
Answer: Yes, as long as we receive the original notarized transcripts. We also ask that our order form and credit card authorization form to accompany your notarized transcripts.
