Do you need to apostille your driving record?
At National Apostille, Inc., we take the guesswork out of obtaining an apostille on your driving record issued by the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV).
We can apostille driving records issued from all 50 States and the District of Columbia (Washington DC).
In order to apostille your driving record, it must be signed by the issuer and notarized. For example, if your driving record is from California, you will need to contact the Department of Motor Vehicle (DMV) and request the record to be signed by a representative of the DMV and notarized.
Some states may issue driving records that already have an official signature and may not need notarization. Be sure to order a certified copy online or directly from the Department of Motor Vehicle. For example, in New York, a driving record is signed by the acting Commissioner and does not require notarization.
Obtaining an apostille can be complicated. Don’t leave this process to untrained employees or non-professionals who do not fully understand the Apostille process and the unique requirements of certain countries. Your paperwork could be rejected costing you time and money. Don’t let this happen to you!
